Layers on Layers

Layers on layers! I get cold really easily so this ensemble can protect me for the entire day. The knit sweater I'm wearing has been in my closet since high school so its getting its comeback today. Underneath, I layered with a white floral button up because I like pairing collars and sweaters. My biker jacket with quilted shoulders gives this look a tough girl look (at least I think so). Don't laugh at me! Leggings also keep me warm and toasty, but still show off my silhouette.

A Little Something Red

Merry Christmas to you! :) I hope everyone has had a lovely day with their loved ones. This red saffiano lux tote definitely captures the spirit of Christmas. My version of Santa's bag full of presents. If you're curious those little ornaments are Garfield themed for my family's mini tree.
A little something else I got myself for Christmas this year is this four leaf clovered, gold-dipped necklace. One of my friends wanted loves getting matching best friend things, so we ended up getting this. I typically don't like wearing necklaces, but this necklace adorable. It also reminds me to feel lucky and I will be!
This infinity ring was given to me by one of my close friends. Knowing that I like rings, this is a perfect addition to my ring collection. Who doesn't like things that come in little blue boxes?

Another Shade of Grey

This season I've been purchasing a lot of peppered grey clothing, but I guess that is my go-to color for the holidays! I haven't worn a turtleneck sweater since middle school, but this sweater has an oversized fit which I love. I paired it with a faux leather cut-out skirt which adds a different texture and dimension.
This year, I have become a skirt girl. If you knew me, I now own a ton of skirts. I just can't get enough!

Just Throw It On

Considering that winter is upon us, I cannot not post a sweater post...SO...here it is! This outfit is comfortable yet stylish when it gets too cold for me to wear a skirt or dress. Layers on layers on layers!

The anorak protects me from the chilly wind. I admit I exaggerate on how cold it is considering I live in LA, but STILL. The sweater was gifted to me and I love it because it adds that Christmas-y touch.

Excuse my facial expression~~ I get awkward and shy behind the camera. HaHa.

Can't forget the combat boots. These boots are so durable and I have worn them for a long time. It has that "worn" look.

McQ by Alexander McQueen

Seasons Greetings! It's December and jack frost is beginning to nip at our noses! Fall semester is also coming to an end for me, and I can finally catch up on rest (no rest is the reason I always have dark circles).

The only downer about the holidays, never ending shopping...for me it started with this Bug Jacquard dress by McQ by Alexander McQueen.

The knit texture of the dress is lovely for the cold weather. The magenta and pink colors of the dress gives a pop of color to the the black boots and jacket that I wore with this outfit.

The booties I'm wearing are featured in a previous post. They are Kane booties by Rachel Zoe.

Rebecca Minkoff

I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving weekend. As it comes to end, I present to you this color-block Rebecca Minkoff dress. The lines of the dress creates a slim figure affect. What really attracted me to this dress are the sleeves, and its proper, slim fit.

To complete my outfit, I will never forget the booties. If you can't tell by now, I love booties, and I have many of them. These Dolce Vita booties are so comfortable with a 2" heel. The burnt out tip gives it a bit of a worn out look.

Peppered Gray & Pearls

Happy Friday! It's getting colder which means its getting closer to the holidays!
I love this new dress I got last weekend from Madewell. It's block shape made it very comfortable to wear and was still able to show my figure without being a bodycon. The leather pockets added a perfect addition to the tweed-like texture of the dress.

The pearls added a nice classy touch to my dark-schemed outfit.
Cannot end this post without highlighting these amazing snakeskin, leather-textured boots by Rachel Zoe. It's not too high which makes it comfortable to walk in, and pairs well with skinny jeans as well.

Paisley-ness

This paisley top from Topshop brings a pop of color and sophistication to a simple outfit. I paired it with high-waist trousers by Cameo the label. It created a nice outfit to express my personal style.

To top it off, these Michael Kor sneaker wedges, gave my look a shine with the polished top and gold hardware. If you were wondering, they are super comfortable considering how tall it appears to be.

The Beginning

Hi all! I'm Nita and I'm beginning my blogging journey. After much encouragement to make a blog, here I am!

Please enjoy my posts :)

This simple outfit was put together for my first week at my new job! I needed something professional, yet edgy, which is why I put together the basic black with a fitted blazer. Top it off with buckled boots by Allsaints, which has been one of the best purchases I've made so far (in terms of shoes). Well, Happy Sunday~
