Bomb(ers) Away!

Hey all, hope you had a great Valentines Day! ~ Today I show some 'tude in my all black ensemble and blush pink bomber jacket. I am in love with the idea of the bomber jacket lately. A jacket that is meant to be light to keep you comfortable, yet still enough to avoid any wind. I fell in love with this jacket from Allsaints (no surprise) because of its unique silk fabrication, making it a little more sleek, or as slang goes fleek. The detailing on this jacket is so amazing and not what you would expect when you turn around.

I'm sure you've also noticed that I am not wearing boots for a change but these nike sneakers. Very unlike me, but I guess my blogger friend has influenced me just a smidgen. Plus with my ever lasting soul cycle love, I guess I gotta balance out the heels for some comfort once in a while. Not having heels for a change is actually very comfortable.....maybe a little TOO comfortable.

**All shot from my iPhone this time ;)

The Midi Essential

Happy Tuesday! The main feature of my post today is about the midi skirt. Its nice to switch up hem lines to being below the knee rather than the usual mini skirts. My cutout perforated skirt from Zara is so simple yet it makes the entire outfit. It is hard to see in this photo but there is a shorter skirt inside, and you can see my legs through the skirt. It adds a bit of edge to the classic midi skirt.

To add a more elegant look, I am wearing a statement necklace that has an art deco design by LuluFrost. I won it through the Styletag app giveaway. You can also follow them on instagram @styletagapp

Spring Break Getaway Pt. 2

On my second day in Las Vegas, I went a more casual route with my ensemble. Keeping in mind the sunny weather, I brought out the high waist black shorts I bought at Topshop a while back. I did not show the high waist part because I didn't want to cover up the unique print on my tank. My tank from Acne Studios has nude and black tones printed in an abstract way which caught my attention. I paired the whole outfit with the Zara linen top just to have coverage on my arms.

Never forget the red Prada bag peeping at the side of me. The essential "it" bag for me!

To top it off, my Chanel espadrilles have been totally worth the investment so far. They are super comfortable, and the colors match so many different looks for the Spring/Summer.

Thanks for reading my readers! Stay tuned for upcoming blog posts for some new spring/summer looks :)

Spring Break Getaway Pt. 1

Happy spring break, readers! I hope you've all been doing well since it has been a while since my last post. Finally spring break has come around and of course the best way to start it is to go away on vacation! I went to Las Vegas this past weekend as part of the 21 club! YAY. I tried to keep my outfits simple by keeping in tone with the basic blacks. The drape wrapped skirt from Zara is currently the hot buy as its edgy with the asymmetrical hem and light weight fabric. I paired it with a basic black crop top from Brandy Melville and the striped linen shirt from Zara as a cover.

There was a really pretty floral display at the Wynn and the lighting there was amazing~ right in front of the Chanel store too. hehe.
My shoes are by Jeffrey Campbell and they are studded sandals with a mini heel. These shoes are great for some coverage and support, and to show off a good pedicure!

This is my look for the first day of my stay! Stay tuned for my part 2 of my Vegas getaway :) Also check my instagram @nitaaamin for posts from my Vegas trip! It includes lots of food (as usual).

The Boyfriend Shirt and Oxfords

Hooray for the SoCal sun shining down on us. That means its time to do a 180 spin on our wardrobes! I'm finding it hard to transition though...BUT this outfit is a good start to keep cool.

Starting off with my basic grey vneck and black pants, I kept it casual to go have a late lunch at Larchmont Bungalow with one of my besties. I wanted to have a cover up, but it was too hot for a jacket, so the boyfriend button up was a good way to add a pastel color to my dark scheme. To really add a touch of summer, I finally busted out my cutout oxfords that I got from Dolce Vita.

Stay Tuned for my Spring/Summer looks! Thanks for reading :)

For students out there, good luck on your Midterms! One more to go for me!

Red, White, and Blue

Hi readers! I feel like it has been a while since I posted, but I am not on hiatus so don't worry. Hehe. It might seem crazy that I'm posting an outfit that is starting to expose more skin, but at the time I put this outfit together, it was pretty warm in LA.

A few weeks ago, I was renovating my house with new furniture to make everything look organized, and I wanted to wear something comfortable and casual. What I love about this dress is the alternate stripes of blue and white, and gives off a spring vibe. The elastic waist on this dress creates a nice silhouette for anyone who wears this style.

As usual, I cannot go without pairing my outfits without a pair of boots of some sort. And my handy dandy red Prada bag that adds a bit of pop to just everything I own!

At the bottom of my post, I provided a link that is similar to what I have but different print.

My up-do top knot is a nice change that I usually do when I am relaxing at home~

For my feature of the Prada bag, there are two new shades of pink that are available in the Prada Saffiano Lux which is SUPER cute!

Off Duty

Happy 2014 everyone! I hope you had an amazing holiday and New Years with your loved ones.

I titled this post Off Duty because of tumblr inspiration from model's off duty streetstyle looks. This is how I would dress all the time if I didn't get persuaded to buy lots of colorful pieces of clothing. What I love about this look is that it is simple, chic, and stylish, but most importantly comfortable! It was one of those "running your errands" type of day, but I could not resist to stop by Americana in Glendale. Layering with a red flannel on top of my Ain't No Wifey Tank.

I am also wearing my Cargo Leather Jacket I got from Allsaints, which is THE BEST leather jacket. It was worth every penny.

My lower half consists of complete Rag & Bone pieces. The jeans are the RBW 23 Skinny Jeans which is a thicker fabric and doesn't give much stretch so my suggestion is to size up one size! Hands down Rag & Bone jeans are amazing with its featured zip pockets and ankle zips as well.

The booties are also Rag & Bone, the Harrow Leather Ankle Boot. With a decent heel that is not too high, it is comfortable and does not need to be broken into. They do run small as well so I would size up a whole size!
Last but not least, can't forget the Prada bag! It finally made its debut.

A Little Something Red

Merry Christmas to you! :) I hope everyone has had a lovely day with their loved ones. This red saffiano lux tote definitely captures the spirit of Christmas. My version of Santa's bag full of presents. If you're curious those little ornaments are Garfield themed for my family's mini tree.
A little something else I got myself for Christmas this year is this four leaf clovered, gold-dipped necklace. One of my friends wanted loves getting matching best friend things, so we ended up getting this. I typically don't like wearing necklaces, but this necklace adorable. It also reminds me to feel lucky and I will be!
This infinity ring was given to me by one of my close friends. Knowing that I like rings, this is a perfect addition to my ring collection. Who doesn't like things that come in little blue boxes?
